Today was a mixed bag. Getting a nice visit from parents and having a fun afternoon = good. Sub-zero temperatures and a terrible wind = bad.

And on top of that, so far, the Grammys have been bad. Amy Winehouse won for her putrid song "Rehab," one of the worst songs I've ever heard because it's just so damn repetitive and annoying. She did not deserve that award.

Barack Obama won a Grammy for his audiobook of "The Audacity of Hope" over Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton for their nominated work, so that makes 6 straight wins for Obama over a Clinton, and the second time Obama has won the Grammy in that category.

I'm seriously hoping that, at 9:34 p.m. Eastern, either the Foo Fighters or Herbie Hancock wins for best album of the year. Not only do both of them deserve such a thing, but I just want to see Kanye cry again when he loses. That's what you get for murdering a Daft Punk song, you bastard.

(Update @ 12:55 a.m. - Herbie did win. Congrats to him!)

But speaking of voting... the Worst. Character. Ever. tournament prepares to jump into the semifinals, but not before determining the last character in. Who is it?

Interesting note: All three 15 seeds made it to the semifinals, but none of the seeds ranked 1-5 did. Funny how it works out, doesn't it?

And so, the semifinals begin. There's three of them and they'll determine which three characters make the TRIPLE THREAT THROWDOWN OF TERROR~!
