Oh, hi there. Didn’t see you enter. Anyways, welcome to my humble little blog. For those of you not familiar with who I am, the name’s Brian. I’m 24 years old and hail from Findlay, Ohio. I work at the local newspaper here as a copy editor, putting my four long years of college to actual use. Kind of. I think.
For those of you who might recognize me from elsewhere, I work as Assistant Gaming Editor over at Blogcritics Gaming and as Features Editor over at Tomopop. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it because I get to do a lot of cool shit with a lot of cool people.
I've been gaming since the relatively young age of around 3 and I've played plenty of games, both good and bad. I'm continuously expanding my gaming collection, which has become more of an archive in recent years as I'm focusing on collecting older, less well-known titles. You'd honestly be surprised on what people are missing out on in bargain bins...
Other than gaming, I love anime, manga, sports, movies, TV, and a whole lot more. I also happen to have something of a legendary love for Cammy, to the point that I am the site's unofficial official Cammy fanboy. And yes, I do play as her in Street Fighter and do so quite well, too.

Sometimes, no matter who wins, we all lose. And in the Worst. Character. Ever. tournament, that's generally the point. And no better was that illustrated than in Match 10, pitting two crappy blondes against each other. Who won?
ROUND 1 – MATCH 10 (Navi Bracket) (8) Barbie - 16 votes (9) Tidus - 8 votes Barbie wins, moving on to face Sora and reaffirming my belief that Barbie Super Model is the worst game ever made in the history of mankind. Tonight, the most controversial character in this tournament makes his appearance. His inclusion is likely to turn just about everyone's head, because for most people... he doesn't belong here. But after doing some research and finding out that some people do think he's one of the worst characters ever, I included him:

... well, actually that was why.
I am getting a bit tired of Link though. I would really like to see a new Zelda game though where you play as Zelda and she's not worthless (And not like that abortion Phillips cdi game). We know she can kick ass from Melee; give her a god damn game.
Also, Nintendo should hire Aerox right now.
Nintendo leading characters lack expression, development, and variety. People identify with Nintendo characters, because a) they're colorful and cute and b) theres a particular novelty with relating these characters to your own childhood innocence. There is only so much "Princess Kidnapped -> Generic Hero encounters Ice, Air, and Fire Levels -> Defeats Generic Villain -> rinse, repeat" that one person can handle.
On the other hand, "having diabetes -> waking up -> avoiding foods that could possibly kill you -> go to sleep -> rinse repeat" is a far more believable reoccurring situation. While Captain Novolin might have been in an inferior game, at least his image wasn't as cookie-cutter as Nintendo leading characters.
