What'd You Get? - The Edition Where I Feel Like Crap

I think the best way to describe today is that I wish it never happened. Things went wrong, work was awful to the point that I dread going in tomorrow, even though I worked my ass off, and as a result, things in the near future might be in doubt. Also, it made What'd You Get? really, really late this week, but it's still here, so don't worry.

I didn't get anything this week, but I did lose my sanity and my headset's mic broke. So I get to post a net loss for the week, I guess. I did download Smashball and play it, and while the game's fun, it crashes way, way, way too much. That's a shame.

Anyways, that's it for me this week. What'd all of you get?

I got Let's Tap for the Wii and Odin Sphere for the PS2 in the mail today from Amazon.ca. I also got Digital Devil Saga 1 (just like A New Challenger) and Killer 7 from various trades from other Dtoid members. I'm pretty sure that's it.

Don't lose heart even if everything is hitting the wrong notes. It can't stay bad forever so it's good to focus on the good whenever possible. :)

Even though I shouldn't be spending money due to lack of job, I'll probably get a copy of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor for the DS some time this week. I'm still in the middle of Devil Summoner 2 so it might not be till the weekend until I play Devil Survivor. Regardless, I don't mind drifting happily in the Shin Megami Tensei sea. :)

In the past few weeks I cleaned up on some older games that I never got around to, with the help of Goozex and Dtoid friends. I grabbed Operation Darkness, Gunstar Heroes, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, Bioshock, Condemned 2, Resident Evil 5, and Mass Effect.

I just beat RE5 last night, and it was fuckin' awesome. I was ready for another playthrough on professional immediately afterward.

Oh, hi there. Didn�t see you enter. Anyways, welcome to my humble little blog. For those of you not familiar with who I am, the name�s Brian. I�m 23 years old and hail from Lorain, Ohio, just outside of Cleveland. I work at the local newspaper here as a copy editor, putting my four long years of college to actual use. Kind of. I think. For those of you who might recognize me from elsewhere, I work as Assistant Gaming Editor over at Blogcritics Gaming and as Features Editor over at Tomopop. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it because I get to do a lot of cool shit with a lot of cool people.
