Oh, hi there. Didn’t see you enter. Anyways, welcome to my humble little blog. For those of you not familiar with who I am, the name’s Brian. I’m 24 years old and hail from Findlay, Ohio. I work at the local newspaper here as a copy editor, putting my four long years of college to actual use. Kind of. I think.
For those of you who might recognize me from elsewhere, I work as Assistant Gaming Editor over at Blogcritics Gaming and as Features Editor over at Tomopop. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it because I get to do a lot of cool shit with a lot of cool people.
I've been gaming since the relatively young age of around 3 and I've played plenty of games, both good and bad. I'm continuously expanding my gaming collection, which has become more of an archive in recent years as I'm focusing on collecting older, less well-known titles. You'd honestly be surprised on what people are missing out on in bargain bins...
Other than gaming, I love anime, manga, sports, movies, TV, and a whole lot more. I also happen to have something of a legendary love for Cammy, to the point that I am the site's unofficial official Cammy fanboy. And yes, I do play as her in Street Fighter and do so quite well, too.

It's Monday, first day of the work week for those of you with jobs and first day of the school week for those of you with school. I currently have neither, and I'm not going to find the former of the two here in southeast Michigan it seems.
But it's also time for that one thing that always makes Mondays more bearable... What'd You Get?, Destructoid's one and only chance to brag and not sound like a douche, since everyone else is doing the same thing! Hopefully. How do you play along? It's simple. Just post what you picked up over the past week. It's as easy as that. This week saw me not get GTA IV once again, as I have a queue of game reviews to go through before I even think of spending time with that game. Otherwise, my work is never going to get done and I'll have the bosses on me for not having reviews in. Such is the life of a gaming journalist, even at a smaller site. But I did get one game this week, a game I won in a contest a long time ago that is finally here: 
And yep, I'm going to end up reviewing that one, too, since we didn't have a Square Enix contact when the game came out. :p So, my question to all of you, is... what'd you get?

I'm going to be downloading some WiiWare titles this week. Definitely Lost Winds and I'm on the fence on Crystal Chronicles. I wish it weren't so expensive
Anyway GTA IV is incredible, I got a little nervous after Butmac and a few others said they were disappointed by it but it's got my enthralled. Unfortunately I have exams this week so I won't get any more time on it until next week.
Also, I won a contest for Revenant Wings on an RPG site as well and I still haven't got it yet. To be fair, the person that's supposed to be sending it to me is in Japan and almost died a couple weeks back. So, I'm a little more forgiving.
RCR is so amazing.
But you have to admit, you did pick the most expensive DS game ever. Way to abuse the system, jerk.

I haven't purchased much, of late. I bought a Simon & Garfunkel CD for my mother, for Mother's Day. That's about it. Sad face. At least I haven't wasted it on anything in a while.
