What'd You Get? - Pretty Cars Edition

I think those of you who know me know that there's a game coming out this month I'm interested in. It's something I've been putting a little money away for and something I'll soon be able to add to my collection. Putting off purchases and all that jazz. So let me tell you about what I got:

This week? Forza 3 pre-ordered. No, I didn't get a free copy or anything like that, and honestly, that's not such a bad thing because I can go out and get the limited collector's edition instead with all those nice little bonus cars. Yay!

I don't know if I'll be getting much else once I get Forza 3 because it ought to be enough to keep me entertained for the next couple months, but I might get a few small games here and there.

My 360 red-ringed so I'm busting out my SNES(WHICH I GOT NEARLY TWO DECADES AGO AND IT STILL WORKS LIKE BRAND NEW) and playing some old favorites on it.

I went Retro Game shopping for my birthday and got a mix of crap and good. Iron Sword, Monster Party, TMNT2, Golgo 13, Codename Viper, and my friend insisted I get Fighting Golf(which much to his sadness had zero fighting) and Bible Adventures.

I threw baby Moses in the water a lot. Intentionally.

Besides Demon's Souls, nothing for me. But I am getting Uncharted 2 tomorrow, so that's pretty spiffy. Also, Borderlands comes out next week too, so I can't wait for that one as well.

I decided against Modern Warfare 2. I'm not paying the Activision tax on the PC version.

Demon's Souls, which is one of those games I'll complete in chunks over then next 3-4 months -- well worth the purchase.

about me

Oh, hi there. Didn�t see you enter. Anyways, welcome to my humble little blog. For those of you not familiar with who I am, the name�s Brian. I�m 23 years old and hail from Lorain, Ohio, just outside of Cleveland. I work at the local newspaper here as a copy editor, putting my four long years of college to actual use. Kind of. I think.

For those of you who might recognize me from elsewhere, I work as Assistant Gaming Editor over at Blogcritics Gaming and as Features Editor over at Tomopop. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it because I get to do a lot of cool shit with a lot of cool people.

I've been gaming since the relatively young age of around 3 and I've played plenty of games, both good and bad. I'm continuously expanding my gaming collection, which has become more of an archive in recent years as I'm focusing on collecting older, less well-known titles. You'd honestly be surprised on what people are missing out on in bargain bins...

Other than gaming, I love anime, manga, sports, movies, TV, and a whole lot more. I also happen to have something of a legendary love for Cammy, to the point that I am the site's unofficial official Cammy fanboy. And yes, I do play as her in Street Fighter and do so quite well, too.
