BABIES DYING OF CANCER: Scent Stories canceled for the Wii photo


BEIJING (AFP) -- Scent Story containers were sent to burn in an open-air tire factory next to Ho Elementary, releasing millions of epic tales of lavender and thyme onto the Dang Dong highway. Importers must immediately stop selling scent and recall any that has been sold, according to a statement over the weekend on the website of the General Administration of Useless Wii Peripherals Marketed To Dumb Cunts. A wave of product safety scandals surrounding China-made goods broke out last year like the Wii strap-on and cheese dispenser, putting the country under increased international scrutiny. China has banned the production of Glade Scent Stories for the Wii, the nation's product watchdog said, after traces of the chemical Reggioxin, which may cause yelling, rampant blazer-wearing, and piercing terrifying glances which may ultimately cause cancer in babies and small dogs.

Hi. I'm Niero, creator of Destructoid.



The first time I saw a video game was at a tiny game room near the beach in 1984. They had a Pong machine -- and that was enough to get me hooked for life. Years later I picked up an Atari, then a Nintendo, and then I knew at age 10 what I wanted to do with my life. By a stroke of luck, coincidence, hard work, and a strange sense of humor I find myself running an unlikely project: Destructoid.

Destructoid is an independent effort, powered by 30 or so folks like me that love games. On any given day I work behind the scenes with the editorial team to keep things moving on the site, add new features, and do things that are fun for the Dtoid community. When events come around, I'm usually the guy clowning around in the helmet. Best job ever!
