OK, so first of all, I have to say: whatever cooties you guys gave me at PAX are really doing a number of my body. But ... it was totally worth it!
I'm kicking myself in the ass for not hugging/kissing each and every one of you guys -- the amount of love for Destructoid and for each other at PAX was overwhelming. I could sit here and name names, but there was a ridiculous number of you fools (said with love!) who came out to Seattle. That first night when I walked in to Redwood and realized that only HALF of you were at that bar, my mind was blown. Totally overwhelming -- can I hang out with you guys individually and just chat or burn stuff? (Not Necros while he's sleeping, please.)
To those of you who I didn't get a chance to speak with, fuck ... that sucks. I'm going to be honest, I'm not the most social "HEY! WHAT'S UP! HOW YOU DOING!" guy, despite the fact that part of my job (networking with people) sort of demands it. Like they say about bears, I'm more afraid of you guys than you are of me ... although, I'm not a bear or anything. I wish I had hung out more, but I was sick and tired the entire time I was in Seattle (and it's really catching up to me now). IMMUNE SYSTEM FAIL.
Whatever happens, I'm coming to PAX next year, and I'm going to hit the gym or eat a lot of vitamin c or whatever it takes to not feel like crap the whole time.
Thanks to everyone for the support, being so fucking cool and crazy, and making Destructoid and its community one of the most amazing places to be for gamers ... warts and all. See you next year for sure, but I'd hope it'll be before then. Anyone want to meet Dale, Jim, and I out in Tokyo this year??!
Also, anyone have any antibiotics?
[Update: So, day one of PAX, I hopped on stage and played Rock Band 2 with some community members. I played "Hard" drums on "You Oughta Know." I failed, pretty hard, but because the game's "No Fail" mode was on, the song went on. I swear the drums weren't calibrated or I couldn't hear it or (insert more excuses here).
Fast forward to day two. Harmonix's Sean Baptiste is telling Dyson how BADLY I failed on drums, but redeemed myself on vocals later. Harmonix's John Drake later tells Samit the same thing.
I'm tired of this crap. Attached is an image of me completing the song on Expert drums in my own house, on my own damned drum set, God damn it. That is all.]

It was good to see you again, man.
That goes without saying. Also, updating this post with a relevant picture.
But your arm wrestling skills fail!
:D
But yeah, sucks that we didnt get to chat pretty much at all, I also was kinda sick on the first day at PAX (some 24 hour bug or something). Maybe next time! <3
Also I still have some antibiotics for that um condition I had involving a midget and a pack of sausages which you can have if you think it'll help ya.
DIE IN A FIRE. Also, you have video of me playing Guitar Hero with "important" people. DO WANT.
Don't worry, we all know you're awesome at Rock Band!
I kid I kid.
Necros is fireproof.........its a fact!

Also, <3.
I send my loves though, we can hang out next time some sort of crazy video game thing happens.
<3<3<3<3<3
I say to clear up all of the competitions mayhem that happened at PAX, and our own povs on them, that we should create a Dtoid only competition thing. Like The Wizard, but with more awesome.
We can have Chad say "California" every five seconds through the whole thing.
It was 2-2, I will admit to that. I'm going to buy Tetris DS so we can face off online. That will probably happen tomorrow.
