What is Destructoid: Destructoid is a place where people come, for videogame news, and a videogame community, without the censors. You won't find anything bleeped, asterisk, or anything taken out here. You won't find reviewers who are afraid to piss people off, and you won't find reviews and reviewers that are paid off.

What you will find though, is a place that has a very vast, personal community. A fast amount of various personalities, talents, and gifts. A place that has it's own styles, catch phrases, and culture. The community blogging I would go so far as to say, is revolutionary. It is something that surpasses even most strictly blog sites. Because when you make a blog here: People WILL see, and they will respond. It's not like other blogging sites, where you make a blog, and it gets lost into infinity.

Of course, like any place it was it's quirks, but nothing more then one or two token ass holes and occasional site glitches which every site has.

My story:Yes, for a while I left Destructoid. I needed a brake from certain people on the site, and rather then flaming I decided to just cut my self off. I'm not really sure if I expected anyone to notice or care that I was gone. I NEVER expected some of the people who tried to get me to come back to get me to come back. One of the very first being Ron Workman him self. And after his e-mail's I thought about coming back a lot and watched the video he linked me to. But the fact that he e-mailed me was so unbelievable to me I wasn't really sure what to think of it xD.

I got messages from Unstoppable Juggernaut and Coonskin. Somehow I think I confused the shit out of the responses to both though. My bad. And finally I get a voice a message from CTZ, which by that time I couldn't listen to because my 360 red ringed so he had to write it back in text xD. Telling me that Butmac made A blog asking where I was. Naturally this surprised the crap out of me. Especially some of the responses which were sort of mixed.

But after all this, and seeing all these people who actually wanted me to come back, and trying to get me to come back just proves even more, that once you become a regular on Destructed. Your there for life or it will hunt you down like some stalker ex-girlfriend lol. (That was totally humor by the way and was not meant to be harmful in anyway.)

Now: I'm going to try to make this list as vast as possible, and I guess it's only fair to start with the writers first.

Nireo:You've made a site, that is ever evolving, ever growing. Becoming it's own entity. A site that has no boundary's, and is a fresh breath of air from the censored world we live in.

Ron:Look...I toid. In no other gaming community would someone that holds your position care if one of their members left. But you were damn near one of the first to try and get me to come back.

Hamza CTZ Aziz: The community blog moderator. If you really do read every blog that's made. Then damn, that's one hell of a job. (Sorry about this long ass blog). If it hadn't been your message on Xbox Live, I still wouldn't be at Destructoid right now, and this blog wouldn't be being made. (Man I really need to shorten these bio's xD)

Jim Sterling:You have a most admirable skill to not give a shit who you piss of. You will say what you feel and not care who get's butthurt. I respect that, there are not a lot of people who will completely stand up for everything they think. And you can find humor in damn near everything. If your not laughing, your not living.

Colette Bennette: That picture of you biting on that controller is scared straight into my mind. Truly an icon for girl gamers everywhere.

I know there's a bunch more writers but if I keep going on with them this blog is going to hit a limit it passed about 4 paragraphs ago.

Coonskin: Iconic of Destructoid. Once of the first people I noticed when I came to Dtoid. Epic in your own right.

Bigpoppagammer:You've become synonymous with underboob cleavge. But also hilarious everytime we've talked on IRC.

Necros: You run the Dtoid IRC. And even though I can no longer go in there. When I was in there, I had some good times, and got to know a lot of the people from Destructoid even better.

itemfourty:You've made some great art and icons for the people around Dtoid. And it was always interesting to see what you were going to change your name to in IRC. Itemsleep.

mxyzplk: If I ever talked about you in real life I wouldn't be able to. As I can't pronounce your name because it has no vowels xD.

Snaileb: You were the one who gave me the idea for this whole thing in the first place. And one of the first people to be cool with me when I came to Dtoid. And the FIRST person I actually played on Xbox Live with from Destructoid.

BlindsidedDork:Ever since I came here you've been running that smash contest. And you've done a great job with it. Fair and responsible.

Virtual Girl:You have THE most epic game room I have ever seen. And for every attempt as cosplay you depict in your blog you succeed beautifully.

Atheistium: I know we've had our differences as well. And I know there were a few times when I would consider my self having been a bit of a jerk to you before I left. I want to apologize for that. I had no right. And just like I don't want to be treated sorely I shouldn't have done so to you.

There's a load more people where that came from. this doesn't even scratch the surface of the community or it's writers. ( That would take a MUCH bigger blog).

One final note: When i came back to Dtoid, and was asked on IRC "What site did I go to". My answer was that I did not go to another site. Especially another videogame site. No videogame site could ever replace what Destructoid is. And I am no trader to go one of it's competitors sites, even if I am no longer one of Destructoids regulars.
