Ok so all day I've pretty much been looking for a game to buy. I've got $17 and I was thinking of getting "Just Cuase" (Gamestop had it for $10).

Gamestop story: I bought a 3 month subby for Live and the guy asks me if I want to pre-order anything, natrully I just told him no then he goes:

"Wanna pre-order Toruk it's going to be good."

I nearly started laughing my ass off right there in the store but the guy wasn't trying to be a jerk or anything so I just laughed all the way home.

And it's $10 for a reason. The demo was fucking shit. So ok screw that idea.

Now I've been hearing all this talk about Omega 5 and it being good and whatever so I decide to try the demo.

Here is what I am expecting: A platformer where you shoot things in front of you and continue on your way. Kind of like Metroid(2-D) mixed with Contra. THAT I can understand everyone shitting their pants over like they were doing. BUT COME ON, I try the demo and it's nothing more then a modified Aegis Wing.

EDIT:There, now I played it again with the right analog.

I still like Aegis wing better.

Why? Becuase I do not like the size of the chars. The awkwardness of the gun postion, and the char design in general.

Now it is not so much the gameplay that is why I don't like it anymore, but rather the sheer inattractiveness of the char's to me. Fair enough?

P.S.: Never did find a game to play. Anyone have any suggestians?

I would say buy drugs, like my friends used to pressure me into doing when I was younger. I always listened, like a loser. But I've got kids and that would be wrong, so uhhhh: I dunno, Resident Evil 4? Do you have any systems besides a 360? Cause if you've got a Wii or GC, the GC version of RE4 goes for about 17.99 or under. But if you've only got a 360, no fucking clue what to tell you there dude.

Hope you find something worth what sounds like your last 17 bucks.

Also, I believe I've seen both Prey and Perfect Dark Zero for about 10 bucks, both are pretty decent FPS games that I enjoyed for about a week or two each. Well, Prey was kind of weak for some reason but a lot of people like it so there you go.

I lost all respect that I had for you when you had the nerve to say Omega Five is worse than Aegis Wing.

I mean nothing against Aegis Wing it was free (and may still be) for the longest time and it was good for what it was.

But Omega Five is ALOT better.

Do yourself a favor and never touch another shooter again.

I actully did try the demo of it. But I did not buy it. I may try the demo again though, I do remember it being good.

A ton of the shooters on the live arcade have the right analog stick mapped out as the fire button.

You seem pretty set to not liking the game but at least now you've given it a fair chance.
