So get this: in a rare fit of good luck, I actually win a contest for once with a not-shitty prize. In this case, it was one of the monthly contests found in Shonen Jump, Viz's monthly manga serialization of popular shonen series such as Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece. What did I win? A copy of Bleach: Shattered Blade for Wii (eh, good for free I suppose) and Bleach: The Blade of Fate for DS. The latter is actually a really good DS fighter that would easily stand on its own even if it lacked the colorful Bleach license. There was only one problem with this: I already imported Bleach DS far over a year ago and unlocked everything. Even if I could now read the cards at the bottom of the screen, I had no desire to go through and unlock everything again unless I decided to import the sequel. So hm...what to do...

I'm giving it away! But you're going to have to do something for me first. If you want a shot at winning this game, make a cblog about a distinctive gaming experience you had. That means it shouldn't be about the game, but how the game made you feel and the things in your playtime that framed your impressions. Yes, we're dipping into new games journalism a bit here, as pretentious as it may be, but I want to see some new content in the cblogs, and I'm willing to reward you if you're the best example of what I want to see. If you're looking for examples, there's that aforementioned link, as well as my recent Rantoid on Yaris. Granted, your entry doesn't have to be as lengthy as either of the examples, but it'll probably end up being longer than the average review/impressions simply by the nature of the parameters.

If you want to enter, have your title start off with "Necros Is Pretentious:" i.e. something like Necros Is Pretentious: Castlevania Made Me Cream Myself. Then, PM me a link if you want to make sure I read it. Oh, and you should probably write it before June 15th, since that's my cut-off date. You're free to keep writing after that, of course, I just won't be considering your entry for winning the game.
