I think they said it was also coming to Wii a while back, but the PS3 announcement is new as far as I know.
I beleive it the epic flip flop went like this.
Beautiful Katamari was put on sale online for all three consoles. Then it became 360 and PS3 exclusive. Then it lost PS3 and was a 360 exclusive. Then it was announced for the Wii but with no explinantion of how it would control.
All the while, it was always available for sale online for all three consoles.
They were always going to put it out on every system. Why wouldn't they? All three consoles are powerful enough to run the game, and it would sell well enough on all three consoles to warrant the extra money to port it.
Any way it goes, katamari is not a strong enough game to turn heads on any console. Fun though.
EXCITING! I miss Katamari.
