I just heard about this movie ten minutes ago and instantly became excited. I am a big fan of horror movies but recently a lot of shit has been coming out like The Hills Have Eyes 2 and boat loads of other crap. The Orphanage was a really good movie out of Spain that wasn't really as much of a horror movie as it was extremely creepy.

I sent the trailer to a couple peeps in stickam and they didn't seem too excited about it but I don't care. The movie has Jennifer Carpenter in it, the chick from Dexter (awesome show). I don't have much else to say other than I hope this movie is as good as the trailer makes it seem. I am getting a hold of REC right now, the Spanish movie which this movie is based on.

Heh, funny. I've heard about this movie for a while now, and I actually think this is going to be just another crappy modern "edgy" remake that movie studios keep putting out.

I just read IGN's review of [REC] and they said it was scary as shit. I love me a good horror flick, but knowing Hollywood they will make this a shitty rehash with barely and gore for a PG-13 audience.

I'll just find the original at some point instead. Nice find either way, though.

That clip has peaked my interest, I LOVE zombie/zombie style movies! Bought a box collection of 8 older zombie movies from Wal-Mart for $10 so I can't wait to crack it open.

Its not that a lot of shit is coming out, it's a lot of shit that's being mislabeled as horror. I am looking forward to this movie because REC was pretty good.
