I've been looking for a copy of this game for a while, and, for some reason, have not been able to find it until yesterday. I walked out of my local Gamestop with a copy of this game, and I couldn't wait to get home and play.

For those of you who have never heard of Stranger's Wrath, I'll give you a brief overview of what it's about (no spoilers). The game puts you in the shoes of "The Stranger", a mysterious bounty hunter looking to raise money for an unknown operation. As you play the game, you turn in various outlaws to get the extra moolah you need.



There are several very unique aspects of this game that set it apart from basically anything I've played before. First off, it's an FPS/Platformer, and you don't see too many of those. You go around jumping off ledges and climbing ropes until you come across the badies. That's when you whip out the ol' crossbow!

The ammo system is absolutely brilliant! You collect different species of bugs and animals to use as ammo, and they all do different things. Some cause your enemies to run away, some hurt them, some lure them towards you, and others explode. It's alot of fun, and a unique take on a weapon system.

Stranger's Wrath is a strange game, but in a good and humerous way. You work for chickens, the dialogue is hilarious, and the villains are stereotypical wild-west frog things (if that makes any sense).

I'm not too far into it yet, but when I get the chance to sit down and play through it, I'm sure I'll be thoroughly pleased.
