The Greatest Webcomic Ever? (NVGR)
NCHammer326 | 1:10 PM on 07.01.2009 7 comments

As noted in my previous post, I'm going to co-writing a Cracked article with David Wong about the most baffling webcomics ("baffling" being the key word here), one of the webcomics that may be included on the list.....is simply amazing.

The only thing that can describe the webcomic's creator is a Patton Oswalt quote "if he had planned to do what he did, he'd be a genius. Like, Andy Kaufman level. But the fact of the matter was, he was a heroin addict..."

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Lawforkids

(Since the fucking edge of my blog is cutting the third panels off, I'll just post the image links)

Before this comic, I didn't know that the passenger could get in trouble. Now I know.

You can't qualify for "greatest webcomic ever" if you don't have some racist overtones.

After much investigation, I've confirmed that the boy is indeed not a car.

The only thing worse than getting permanently expelled is getting permanently killed.

In addition to these awesome comics, the site also asks hard-hitting questions, ranging from the surreal ("Is smashing a cactus with a giant rock illegal?") to the "what the fuck is this doing on a kid's site?" ("What happens if a person under the age of consent rapes a person over the age of consent?") (Turns out you could get away with it.)

Simply put, these are amazing.

@Justice: Yeah, I first found out about Lawstripz when I-Mockery covered them a few years ago, but they seem to be pretty unknown to most people.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
