Crap... forgot maybe the best one of the lot!
Professor Layton -- Fun puzzle-oriented adventure game, chock full of characters, some very well done cutscenes, etc. High production values, fun puzzles, semi-interesting story, good writing throughout. Recommended!

MyquiH, here is a quick tip for you. You can edit your blog in the manage my posts section. This will take you to your archives and you will find a edit button that you can use.
Also, welcome.
Cheers Mr. Glove -- I just wanted 'first' on my own post... (myq iz l0zr)
(also, thanks to everyone's tolerance of the "Etrian Odyssey" posts... maybe not a great idea for a contest...)

Oh man, Hotel Dusk has to be one of my favorite DS games from last year. I didn't really play it for the gameplay, but more for the Storyline. You should try finishing it. The ending is really awesome, yet depressing.
Myst DS - It's not terrible, but the killer is that the books and papers are nearly impossible to read on the DS screen, so I couldn't play it, which was majorly disappointing for me.
I'm a big adventure game fan too...did you play Penny Arcade Adventures yet on PC? If not you should....it definitely reminds me of the humor of older Lucasarts a'la Maniac Mansion. It's too short, but it's well worth it while it lasts.
If your looking for DS adventure game pick up the Phoenix Wright set. They are really good.
Also Time Hollow is coming out later this year, maybe. Give it a look-up.
That's too bad about Myst. I was really excited but now that it's practically unplayable I guess I'm not going to pick it up...although I may try and find my old PC version and play it a little.
Good call on the Phoenix Wright games -- I picked up all all 'em (thank you, Goozex!) but haven't played 'em yet.
I saw that Runaway Dream of The Turtle (a well-done light comedy/adventure PC title) is coming to the DS as well.
