This morning I managed to scrape up enough cash to finally download one of my favorite games from the N64 era, F-Zero X. An hour or so later, my thumbs are sore and I'm in love all over again. The graphics for the tracks and ships are definitely a bit on the plain side, but this is more than made up for by the sense of speed, number of cars on the course, and the sexy 60 frames per second gameplay. The music is excellent as well, something the series has always been known for. I'm still humming the tunes to myself as I type. I skipped the GBA and Gamecube versions, something I plan to rectify soon enough. For those who played them, what did you think? One thing I always wished would be brought over from Japan was the 64DD F-Zero X Expansion Kit. It not only included new songs, courses, cups, and F-Zero machines, but a complete car and track editor. I found a guy who's gone to the trouble of making a ton of custom tracks and uploading them to share with the Internets. Here's a few videos showing what we missed out on: Track Editor Tutorial Part 1: Track Editor Tutorial Part 2: Track Edit Harder Here's the finished product: Hey, I see what you did there! The dude made this track in less than ten minutes, so it's obviously not refined. There's a lot more on his YouTube channel that's been given extra TLC. I can just imagine the fun I'd have with this thing. Who knows, maybe someday after Nintendo has surprise sexed us enough with terrible NES and TbGfx games, they might actually bring this over to the Virtual Console! HAHA!!! Yeah, not holding my breath on that one. Anyway, I dig F-Zero, make a new one for the DS Nintendo, show the track on both screens at the same time, online Death Races would be sweet, yada yada... SEGUE!!! Someone way more brilliant than I could ever hope to be came up with this comic combining two of my favorite things, Spider-Man and mocking religion. These are kind of old, but have since been lost in mists of Time. Luckily Mr. Peabody and Sherman came to the rescue, and I was able to dig up the original full size images. Enjoy!
Happy early Fourth of July to everyone, and big props to my e-friends across the pond in England. Thanks for the country dudes! It's a little fucked sometimes, but overall pretty kick ass! A+++ WILL BUY AGAIN!!!

That's also a bitchin' spiderweb cowboy hat being rocked by Jesus.
He knew Jesus had to die to be his savior, but no one said dying while looking like Willie Nelson voided the sacrifice. SPIDEY GETS IT!
*wrings hands menacingly*
