In my last blog I compiled a list of voice actors, and with the help of my fellow d-toiders here is part 2.
Reuben Langdon: The voice and motion capture of Dante from Devil May Cry 3 and 4. He will also provide the voice for Ken in the English console version of Street Fighter 4. He has also done stunt work for Resident Evil 5.
Johnny Yong Bosch:The voice and motion capture of Nero in Devil May Cry4. He was also the voice of Kuhn(.hack//G.U. ), Ichigo(Bleach), Vash(Trigun) and Lelouch(Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion) in their english dub releases. But he is most recognized for his role as a fucking Power Ranger!
James Arnold Taylor: The voice of Tidus from Final Fantasy X and Rachet from Ratchet & Clank. He is also known for his role as Obi-Wan Kanobi in Star Wars: Clone Wars.
Armin Shimerman: The voice of Andrew Ryan from Bioshock. He is most noted for his role as Quark in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
Quinton Flynn: The voice of Raiden in the Metal Gear Solid Series. His other works include Axel from Kingdom Hearts 2, Henry from No More Heroes, and Reno from Final Fantasy: Advent Children.
Ray Liotta: Voice of Tommy Vercetti from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. He is also known for movies such as Goodfellas and Narc.
Out of your group of friends there is someone who always takes it too far. The one who yells after every touchdown or basket he/she makes. The person who glares at you whenever you win a round in a 2D fighter. The ass who smiles when you fail to win against them. They always want"one more match" when you beat them. I think we are all guilty of this at some point in our lives. I have to admit, I have fell victim to this terrible sin on numerous occasions.
As a kid I used to have Street Fighter 2 tournaments at my house with my friends from the neighborhood. Everything would go fine until the trash talking. It wouldn't be me who would start it, but I didn't help either. One person would keep winning and talking shit until fists fly. Somebody would get in trouble and the day is ruined, but we start over the next day the same exact way.
As the years passed and the games changed, the attitudes came with it. Another altercation happened while I was playing NBA live (enter year here) with my friend. I was getting my ass kicked by him repeatedly but I wouldn't give up. I would keep saying "One more game!" Each time we played I promised I would beat him, but it never turned out that way. The rage in me would rise with each failure. What bothered me the most was he would keep his composure with every insult I threw at him. So my anger would reach it's maximum level and I would leave like an asshole. The next day we would play again like nothing happened.
For those who suffer from this, here is a list of games that you may consider. (In bold for special
[Games that destroy friendships]
1. 2D fighters (Street Fighter's, Marvel vs Capcom, Capcom vs SNK.)
2. 3D fighters (Tekken, Soul Caliber's, Dead or Alive, Super Smash bros?)

4. TPS's (Gears of War.)
5. Sports games ( Madden, NBA live/2k, NHL, MLB and so on.)
6. Racing Games ( Gran Turismo, Need for Speed, Mario Cart)
[Games that will tame the beast]
1. Co-op Beat em ups (Streets of Rage 2, Ninja Turtles: Turtles in time, Castle Crashers.)
2. Strategy games (Civilization, Command and Conquer, Starcraft)
3. Board games
4. Wii games? (Wii fit etc.)
Surprisingly this year has been great for movies and video games. Here's a few movies that I got a chance to check out.
This movie is based off of a book by Stephenie Meyer (which i haven't read) and like most of its predecessors it seems to have lost a significant amount of substance and meaning in transition. Most of the movie deals with the relationship between a girl named Bella and a vampire named Edward. This film does go a bit overboard in its writing. I remember there was a scene where Edward says "Your scent is like a drug to me." That statement alone made me cringe. Bella's character is very plain and one-dimensional, which is very making her a very disappointing main character. Keep in mind that this movie is directed at a certain demographic so do not have high expectations. I'll give this movie a 2/5.
I would not be surprised if this movie wins an academy award contender. Slumdog Millionaire is directed by Danny Boyle who also directed Trainspotting(another great movie) . I must say he really did incredible work on this film. The movie is about a poor Indian teenager who gets a chance to be a contestant on his countries version of "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire." During his time on this show the movie the movie cuts conflicts and obstacles that he had to overcome in his life. For those who enjoy a movie, your in for a treat. This movie is truly a must see. I'll give it a 5/5.
Here's Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino. Clint plays a retired war vet named Walt who is bitter and out of touch with his family. He lives in a inner-city neighborhood infested with gang members. A teenage neighbor tries to steal his car and later on he develops a relationship with him. You can see a little bit of Dirty Harry when he makes statements like "Get off my lawn!" This movie does have some flaws. The gang members are just laughable. You can tell that most of the younger actors are inexperienced, but overall it is a very good movie. I'll give it a 4/5.
Before you see this film I must tell you the the "secret" of this movie is not important at all! It is really the transition to the end. It is the most emotional movie I have seen this year. Will Smith plays a IRS agent who helps a group of people in order to redeem himself. This movie is very slow but there are points where it gives you just enough info to keep you interested. You spend most of the movie wondering why he feels so guilty. Rosario Dawson was great in this film. I would say this is her best performance yet. Your either going to love or hate this movie. Because of the holes in the story, I will have to give this movie a 3/5.
You will have a good time watching this movie. This movie is about two energy drink spokesman who are sentenced to community service at a big brother type of organization. The movie is just full of one-liners. The two kids that they look after really take this movie to the next level. I'll give it a 4/5.
This film was directed by Kevin Smith. He is known for his movies such as Clerks 1 and 2, Mallrats, Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back, and Dogma. As expected it is full of profanity, but the film is very endearing. The title alone explains the plot. Seth Rogan and Elizabeth Banks have great chemistry. This movie really surpassed my expectations. I'll give it a 5/5
