Granted some editors came in and tried to quell it, but they didn't do anything at all to stop it. And besides, it was the community that was responsible for much of it, so while it's arguable whether or not they supported it, they certainly perpetuated it with a gusto.

I don't think it's about being uppity bro. That honor goes to those of you who eagerly participated in said shit-storm like good little sheeple. You had no right, and many of you no reason, to jump up Luc's ass, much less tell him to go fuck himself, but you internet bad-asses jumped at the opportunity to do it just the same.

No, rather than being uppity or acting holier-than-thou, I think it's about being disappointed in how the community acted. At least it is for me. A whole bunch of you went out of your way to make the community at large look like a bunch of puerile douche-nozzles. This community used to represent something better than that, and so it sucked to see the discussion devolve into a GameFAQs calibur cluster-fuck.

And hey, if someone gave you guys the divine right to pass judgment on Luc, then I think we're well within our right to express our disappointment about the way you went about it. ;)
