So this is the part where I pretty much give you a condensed version of who I am, what I like, what I listen to and all that other rubbish.
I like to draw, lots, I like it even more than eating (and living by myself and having to pay rent just goes hand in hand) Beer is awesome, DARK beer, none of this Corona/Miller/Budweiser/Coors piss water the majority of people drink.

If you've played Halo before, you know what you're getting into with Halo 3.
I would go with Orange Box personally. So much more value in that package! You still get a sweet game to rock multiplayer in, a huge amount of single-player content to play through, and PORTAL! (I'm sorry, I'm a little overexcited about portal)
Also, is anyone renting Halo3?
Orange Box for a download off a torrent site or something, I will buy it, but that is only because I hate keyboard and mouse set up, and just using my PC for games all together really.
Gears of War is a shitty game with better graphics than everything except maybe Bioshock and Heavenly Sword, so factor my opinions of all that into whatever I say. Also, I love Lost Planet too.
Plus many of us dtoiders already have it for PC and have been playing it like a religion when we have the time ;D so you will have a rather large group of people to play with!
I love Lost planet too, matter of fact, I think all the games I own for my 360 are basically shooters. Funny how those are the only games that have been coming out for the 360.
Anyway, how difficult is it to find a cracked version of the Orange Box once its out over torrent? Im not a huge pirate or anything, just a starving artist with an empty wallet.
I myself am a rather large pirate, with an eye patch and everything but anything that is even remotely Half Life related; I pay for. It's one of those rare occasions for me, at least, where I feel I get triple my money's worth.
That being said, Orange Box will be all over the torrent sites. I've never been a fan of Halo in the slightest, too slow for my liking. Even on the PC it just felt restricted.
If you buy Orange Box for PC then you get online FREE! As you already have teh intarwebs I assume. So no feeling pressured into buying that Gold account *just* yet and lots of multiplayer mayhem to be had.
That and FPS on consoles is just in another dimension compared to keyboard and mouse, though I do like lying back in the living room gaming sometimes as opposed to sat up at the pc.
There's pro's and there's con's, but Half Life was and still is primarily a PC game. This is one time I feel you should go with the flock of sheep and revel in throwing toilets at dtoiders.
I was just saying to download Orange box because I have no doubts it is all over piratebay/bitsoup/demonoid/etcetcetc. Like I said though, I don't PC game, so I don't know how well Valve has their shit set up where they make it difficult or what not to connect to personal servers, and how active are those personal servers.. blah blah. I guess buy Orange Box if you don't have a hard on for keyboard/mouse like so many do. Halo 3 will always have a shitload of people online, they basically have "Gary's Mod" built in with the "Forge" editing thingy, you can take awesome snapshots/video of your best kills or bloopers.
Orange Box will always be better quality wise overall, but, it is hard to argue being able to pull up your friends list and know that someone at any given moment is probably playing Halo 3.
Halo 3 is... Halo 3, but orange box is 5 games of awesome. That you have not played before? If not, definitely orange box. If you prefer the halo style gameplay, then halo 3. Either way, you win!
