I'm up for suggestions with the fighting games/beat-'em-ups, otherwise I'll just get into some Super Street Fighter IV AE.

If I see that you're already online when I finally get on, I'll just join with your party and we can merge the games. I'd host earlier, but my daughter doesn't go to sleep until about 8:30 Pacific, so 9 is the earliest I can commit to!

I'm also going to be dragging some non-Destructoid people into the Speed Halo match. Everybody who's planning to play, I beseech you: Play a round or two of some game, and then when you join me for Speed Halo, invite them to the game.
I played the game with eight people the other night. This game becomes exponentially more fun with each person added.

Halo makes things like that super easy, though. All you have to do is join the Xbox Live part of the person hosting and boot up the game. Once it sees that they're playing a mode you don't have, it will download it for you!

Yep, and Speed Halo is easy!
It's basically Whack-A-Mole meets NASCAR. Some players race a car down the track, others use giant hammers to smash the drivers. When the drivers get hit, they respawn with a hammer and must help kill the remaining drivers.
It's a lot of fun.
