How hard is it to keep a 2D fighting game in 2D? Fuckers.
Its a sign of the times and tech getting to such a high point. These games are presented in 3d but still play in 2d. 3d has its uses if you want your game noticed more.
Don't get me wrong, I love my 2d fighters, 3rd strike, Marvel vs Capcom 2 etc, but this was always gonna happen eventually.
That doesn't mean that 2d fighters will disappear (Blazeblue looks cool), just that for these games to sell, they have to appeal more to those that might otherwise skip them. 3rd strike etc should have sold more but gamers can be a fickle bunch.
By all I've read, it seems like they've taken away the majority of special moves in the new Samurai Shodown. The result is a less boob-filled Soul Caliber.
It's a shame really...(about losing everything that was Samurai Shodown.. not about the boobs).
Prasma Brade!!!
I'm sad about SS.
I'm focusing my attention on how awesome KoF XII looks, and how I unfortunately saw like 2 moves unobscured. Nice to see that SNK decided they should make new sprites once every ten years or so.
well my cristal ball tells....
SOUL CALIBUR VS SAMURAI SPIRITS!!!!
made by namco of course...
yeh yeh,..
