Electricity is very nice. Coincidentally it is how I learned my first word, "hot." I'll let all of you just imagine how it happened.
@Enkido.....yes....yes it is. I took it for granted. But no more. When she comes back im gunna treat her nice. And there are a fair few spelling mistakes in this.
Oh and i forgot the whole point of this blog....how long have you been without elecricity before? How did you cope? I have another 4 days of this bullshit.

17 days. I live in Florida and after we got hit by two hurricanes in a row we found out our house was on one of the last grids to be restored.
@Occam
Tesla was a badass.

Tesla was the Tyrannosaurus Rex of electricity developers. Edison? Edison was more like a diplodocus. Kapow.
During our last power outage, my brother and I played scramble. Given our propensity towards generating new words weighted towards landing on score multipliers and unpronounceable constant combinations, in a few days, we would have created another language. This is your chance. Start a new civilization down there in the dark.

Why are you without electricity? Have you had floods or storms? I know my inlaws were without electricity in the middle of a Canadian winter in Ontario for several weeks. They used the open fireplace for heat but had to play a huge clean up bill later on when they realized how much soot had gotten all over the walls.
We have a wood stove here and ride out power outages pretty easily, but the longest we've been without was only a day or two.
... also, what kind of job do you have that there are "5 men next to me are reading Playboy while spitting on the floor, doing weights and smoking"... because it certainly sounds like an interesting workplace. :)

@ Occams.....im afraid that whatever Telsa has told you is a lie.
@Enkido- What! Jesus. Luckily for me england has shitty weather, but not to a point where im heading underground to avoid the next hurricane.
@Beyamor- You just burnt Edison reeeeal bad there. And i cant. Ive been banned from board games. They unlock some kind of uncontrolable primal rage.
@Elsa- Haha my job is amazing...i spend 10 hours a day shifting bricks to one warehouse to another. On the same complex. Its amazing fun. Oh and because some realllllly smart people where i live thought it would be a good idea break into the substation and wreck some of the panels. Fucking idiots.
