Disaster: Day of Crisis, finally on the way
Mite000 | 10:02 AM on 04.13.2008 8 comments

Lets face it. How many of us thought this title was outright canceled. We've seen nothing on it since E3 06, but now it looks like we actually have a release date. As you can see in the top right of this Advertisement, it appears to be July 3rd in Japan. I'm extremely happy to see that this title wasn't given up on after all, and I can't wait to play it when it comes to America. Hopefully that isn't TO far off...

It's supposed to be Wii exclusive yes, but I'm afraid I don't speak Japanese. If anyone does however, I would also love to see a translation.

BEARS!

It's being made by Monolith, whom Nintendo bought, so of course it's Wii exclusive. Also, being a fan of Irem's Zettai Zetsumei Toshi games (Disaster Report and Raw Danger in the US), I am VERY happy to see this isn't gone, because I genuinely believed it was.

I hope this at least means that Nintendo won't forget all the new IPs they promised gamers before the Wii was released.

Also, Wishbone!

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

 about me

Hey there, my name is Eric. I'm a college student that... doesn't really know what they want to do lol. But it will probably involve gaming, because I've been playing them since I was 4 years old. God bless the NES. Since then I've branched out significantly and have a lot of experience with all the consoles. The only problem is that when I find an issue with something, I don't seem to have a satisfying outlet. That is, until I was introduced to Destructoid. So now I'm looking forward to having some good rants with all of you fine people :)
