Haha, sucks for you.
Smash Dojo lists NO date.
No offense but Europe always get the short end of the stick...why is this a surprise?
i know ;~;
wtf how did they rationalize this? if i had to have the game in Bulgarian or that other backwater language, French i'd understand that i might have to wait a bit but if the game is already out in english elsewere just relese the damn thing. any word on our friends in OZ and New Zealand?
but you recieved strikers before us which completely makes up for it right?.....right?
none that i know of, unfortunately. only the EU, US and JP dates
Wow that sucks for Europe..
any time we do get a game before somewhere else, more often than not the translation is rushed. *coughminishcapcough*
plus, one game before everyone else a year is asking too much of ninty
Looking at June, at the earliest.
"God Bless The U....S....A!!!!"
Nintendo fucking sucks dick whe it comes to release dated. Apparently, nobody over there knows how to release games in multiple regions.
Goddammit! I swear to god, Sony is looking really good compared to Nintendo these days.
actually, i have a better idea. why doesn't nintendo just wise up and release them all within a week of each other after ALL the versions are done instead of forcing the Europeans (and for a time, the americans) to wait while the others get better at it and release all the details? lot easier and much more fair
Why does Nintendo hate Europe so much? I've never been able to figure that out
That sucks.....
Got any friends in the States? You should ask for plane tickets for Christmas.
none unfortunately. and importation is a lot of hassle. may go through that though, they never have wiis here, and when they do they're overpriced by at least £100
I'll try and cop an Australian version if it comes out earlier because aussie wii's are PAL like ours
ooh yeah. good idea justice
and the worst bit of this is, they'll use this as tomorrow's update, knowing luck
I would gtfo that country if i were you. Come to the US where release dates are great.
bummer... that's the one thing that keeps me apprehensive about moving to Europe. Canada, here I come.
This localization can be a tricky thing. Wouldn't want the word "spastic" appearing in a game or else they might need to have another recall. Good thing too, someone could have died!
I have no idea why Nintendo continue to do this. They weren't too bad with Mario Galaxy, so I didn't mind that. A week or two is understandable. A month is out of hand. Anything more is just disgraceful. There isn't an excuse to this. 10-15 years ago they could get away with it. The world was smaller and the internet non-existent, meaning that I didn't know what I was missing out on. Example: I never missed Chrono Trigger first time around because I didn't know about it. If something like that was released again today it would be all over the gaming blogs and websites.
Unfortunately considering we get lumped in with Europe that includes the Spanish, German and French languages. What they really should do is either a) release English only PAL games over here or ideally b) wait until ALL languages are translated before releasing the game to everyone.
that's what i've been thinking about, DanGale. either release the english version in the UK as well as Australia and the US, or do a worldwide release.
and, while i'm reluctant to move, i'm very tempted to do so by the amount of CHEAP games they have in the US.
