Why does Japan have to have it so much better then us?

There are plenty of game related areas that are better in Japan then in the US, but I want to talk about the downloadable games for now. If you look at the PSN Network in Japan you'll find that a lot of good games are up for download but for some reason are not available in the US. The PSN Network is extremely guilty of this when I see all the Playstation King of Fighters games and Resident Evil: DC up for download and all we have is Jumping Flash I. Oh, and the Japanese server also has Jumping Flash II. So my question is, if the Japanese can have these games then how come those of us in the states have to settle for a smaller library?

No idea why Sony can't get their act together. Even if the games on VC are delayed from Japan to the US, they still come out eventually. Sony's been sitting on stuff like Resident Evil for a while now.

about me

Well I guess some info on me is in order:
-I'm a 24 year old American teaching English in Japan
-I live in Fukuoka prefecture. The laid back and hot part of Japan.
-I think Akihabara is one of the most over-rated places unless you got the cash to spend.
-I like anime and manga but I will have no problems making fun of you if you like weeaboo crap like Lucky Star.
-Speaking of manga, I love the used manga stores here. I can buy the whole Berserk series for about $35 if I wanted to.
-Right now all I have on me for games is my DS, PSP, and my laptop. If you wanna play something, hit me up on steam.
-Oh and I'm a big Z.O.E. and mecha fan.
