Stuck in a ToyBox #1: Marvel Legends Iron Fist!
Meta-Ridley | 5:01 PM on 01.04.2008 8 comments

Before I began let me just say please cut me some slack here this is my first toy review so I don't know if I'm doing this right. If you have criticism/comments please tell and I will try to change it.

BEGIN!

IRON FIST!

Look at him in all his punching glory.

Iron Fist was at first a lesser known martial artist that no one really cared for but he has now gone onto to do great things in the marvel universe. His first big thing was being in Heroes for Hire with Luke Cage, he then became Daredevil for a time to convince people that Daredevil wasn't Matt Murdock. More recently he has been with the New Avengers with his buddy Luke Cage who is the leader and several other big names like Spider-man, Wolverine, Doctor Strange and others. Yes, this martial artist character has gone from a pop culture trend to a popular A-list marvel character.

Now on to the actual review.

Just because the other pic didn't get a good view of his face.

Let's begin with the articulation which is basically every part where he moves. Let's see his head moves, his hands, arms, shoulders, and elbows all move. The only problem with the hands is that the fingers barley move but that's no big deal. He has articulation at the legs, knees and feet also his "slippers. Also his waist and stomach move.

The sculpt if very cool and has a lot of detail everything from the black dragon on his chest to his chest muscles are very well done. The only thing I don't like is the flap on the end of his hood is not sticking out and is stuck inside the collar.

Fire is always good

As you can see Iron Fist comes with 2 accessories both of which show Iron Fist charging his chi and using his "Iron Fist" Both of which are made for a specific hand (Top goes on the right, bottom goes on the left.) The only thing I don't like about them is how they don't stay on.

Except in this picture!

The other thing Iron Fist comes with since he is part of the Apocalypse's Build a figure he comes with the big blue's right leg which is downright huge.

FEAR THE FOOT!

I honestly want to complete this series just to see how big Apocalypse is going to be because judging by the size of his foot he is going to very tall. I mean come on the foot is bigger then Iron Fist himself.

Iron Fist: I really hope I don't have to fight whoever this foot belongs to.

So all and all a good toy with a few cool accessories. If your a marvel fan go buy this especially if you love Iron Fist.

Well, I hope you all enjoyed my first review please tell me how I did and any criticisms is welcomed as long as it's not mean spirited.

YOU TOOK THEM OUT OF THE BOX!!! For shame.

*facepalm*

That is honestly not what I was expecting.

They aren't any fun if you don't take them out of the box. Good review man. I have a bunch of Marvel Legends including this whole series along with Apocalypse himself and he his huge. The Sentinel build-a-figure is bigger than him though.

Glad to see you decided to go for it. Good review, the only suggestion I have is try to find a decent image hosting site. Then the attached image section won't stretch out your blog. You don't need anything fancy, heck I use flikr for mine.

excellent review...I look forward to more. Perhaps it would convince me to blog about my figure collection or at least a one-off blog post with mega pictures.

I apologize. I actually enjoyed reading your post. I just had to go with the blatantly obvious jest.

I'm obsessed with these - I bought all the ones in the Galactus series just to make Galactus. I also just need Psylocke and Power Man to finish Mojo.

Yayyyyyyyyy figures!
