First blog post about being smashed.

So, as I down this six pack of 16oz budweisers & listen to Pelican's City of Echoes album, I write this blog post...

I own a 360 and I'm currently unhappy with the lack of games right now. Forza 2 just came out and I played the demo for it. Although I had a nice time playing it, all I could think about were the jagged lines. I mean, what the fuck? This is suppose to be next gen and I expect for these "next gen" titles to have the full package. And by "full package" I mean, outstanding gameplay and outstanding graphics. When playing the Forza 2 demo, I felt like I was playing a last gen game only because of the graphics. I know that one shouldn't judge a game solely on graphics, but for me I want my games to both play good & fucking look good. I didn't buy a 360 to play old Xbox games even though I'm currently playing Ninja Gaiden Black on my 360. I bought it for a new.., I don't even know what the fuck to call it. Isn't this suppose to be the era of high definition? I like my high def content crisp, clean, sharp, etc. Aliasing is so 1996 kthx.

Anyways, one of the first 360 games I bought was Gears of War, because it looked damn good and it made me say "Holy shit. I have to play this game." The game is good. Yeah.., I really don't know where I want to go with this.

I just hope that the games that were said to come out this year actually come out this year. The whole expansive cities that claim to be in Assassin's Creed seem promising plus the producer for Assassin's Creed is fucking hot! idk about GTA4, but I'm still buying it. I'm also buying Halo 3 even when I haven't played / finished the first two Halo games. I keep trying to play Halo 1, but I just can't finish it. IMO it's nothing special. There are far better FPS's''s''s out there. Yeah, and I'll get Mass Effect.

What's up with Spore being announced so early? Vaporware anyone? But that's another post. Maybe.

Spore is like self-aware vaporware. It'll be here eventually.

Remind me to do a post when I've had a bit too much rum.

Haha, Spore is definitely not going to end up vaporware. EA is throwing a ton of cash into this. It's just how Will Wright rolls.
