The entire premise behind this game is retarded, and it's unbelievable that SE would milk the FF franchise this badly, but once I get a PSP, this will be my first game.

@ Magnalon - What's wrong with a fighting game being made out of FF? I played the import a really enjoyed it ^^ But then again I am a FF fanboy >.> Could you possibly go a little into detail about what you don't like about it? Also, you can't believe that SE would milk FF?

Magnalon... this game has been crying out to be made for like, more than 5 years. And having played it, Square Enix can milk FF all they want if theyre gonna put out games this much fun. Definitely worth it for an FF fan.

So 25th of August is the release date... i hope. Thats not toooo far away. That pack is pretty good, although the psp-3000 loses some points for not being hackable (yet).

Yea I'm a huge, huge fan, and I can see playing as Golbez for like 300 hours; I just think Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus, FFX-2 etc take away a bit from the magic of FF is all.

I'm a fanboy as well, but an FF fighting game is kind of weird. It's taking the magic of old Final Fantasy games and putting them in a popular "fighting" form. It's a bit odd to grasp, but like I said, I want it...really bad. I've been a fan since I played 1 on my NES, and beat FF4 like 5 times over. In fact, I just recorded a retro cast all about FF 1-9; you can hear about how much I like each game with some friends of mine if you click my profile, then look on the right side for the link to our 'cast :-D.

Dissdia was silly fun from what I gathered. but I was too lazy to go on Gamefaqs to look at the FAQs to figure out shit. I'll be NOT downloading once this hits our shores.

From what I can tell from the (terrible pics) it is just a "normal" silver PSP-3000 but the box art work is enough for me to get it as I collect that sort of stuff.

while i have no grudge about Sony milking the Final Fantasy series for all it is worth, the PSP needs all the sales they can get. oh and i will be buying Dissidia.

i have a PSP, bought it for Disgaea, and Final Fantasy Tactics and now waiting for Disgaea 2. will be honest though didn't like Jeanne De Arc at all, but i can see where some one might.... the game's battle system is great, but the anime liberties taken on a historical figure bugged me deeply as i am a bit of a history buff, and to be honest for a character that was supposed to be one of the tragic heroines of history, the bright and bubbly nature of her world and the people around her drove me nuts

Yeah, when I saw this earlier I got stoked. I'll just trade my old PSP in for this one. But like somebody said, with the PSP Go rumors running around, this might be a bit moot.

You should order from England then they've got some great deals here. I got my PSP-300 with Tekken Dark Resurrection, Ratchet and Clank Size Matter, GTA: Vice City Stories and Lego Batman (didn't want that) with a 2/4GB memory for �150, so around $230. But you can mix and match the games.

But good deal anyway ^_^
