So this is an idea that I have always wanted to see in the Dynasty Warriors series, and I know, every body is all huffy that they have never hanged much within the game. Well I propose a massively online type of campaign mode. The idea popped in my head after I read about M.A.G. and its squad based 256 multi-player system.



So here are my ideas for what we could add into the game’s multi-player:

256 player dynasty warriors type game

Chain of command system

Ranks are dependent on a point system or level system

Everyone has a specific type of beneficial effect for their troops

The higher the rank officer you loose, the more your side looses beneficial effects



You do not looses if your main guy is defeated

Pick a side when you create your custom char

Have some sort of custom combo system; possibly tied in with a weapon skill level

Have special musou moves that can be unlocked and acquired in different ways

Level up system implemented for all chars

You can defect to another side at the beginning of a match with certain penalties like
decreased strength or loss of level

Try to bribe people to join your side of the battle, try to make them stay with an even
heftier bribe of your own exp or levels



Have cut-scene like “Trap” effects, kind of like what happens in the single player game
or something like those dragon ball z: burst limit drama scenes

If someone on your side knows of your defect they can capture you for a match and if
they win your char is basically stripped of everything including weapons and even
de-leveled; However, if the other side wins, they can save the defective soldier
with, who takes no penalties

Ongoing dynasty wars; fight for territories, every battle means something; I.E. like
risk, but fun

Have random effects happen, like if Lu Bu got bored he would come through and
slaughter half of your enemies; or even better, what if we had a clan of elite
gamers or even the developer or even A.I. be like a wandering military force just
like Lu Bu jumping in and helping out one side or the other.



OK so I know that was a lot of stuff and I am pretty sure someone is going to argue with me, but I don’t care. I created this to expresses my ideas and feelings of this series of games and would prefer USEFULL feedback, negative or positive.
