So today Nintendo World was holding a special event at Time Square and I was lucky to relax in such a busy area of NYC.


I went there with my friend Jaime and we first had a hard time finding it due to the fact that we were both hungry, but later after lunch we found it. We got there about 2:00 and it wasn't raining yet so we played most of the Wii sports games for hours. I loved playing archery and fencing, but the other games on there like canoeing were ok. There were even a lot of children there from day camps and LOTS of tourists, but it's Time Square so there are tourists everywhere.


I thought it was kind of cool how they even put sand down on the ground and even beach chairs for everyone to sit down and chill. I only sat for about a few minutes because how often do you have a chance to relax and sit back in Time Square? Speaking as a native New Yorker not every often.


What really made the event really great was the fact that after you were done playing a game of Wii Sports they would give you a ticket to get a free drink. I got strawberry ^_^! At the end of the day it was all fun and I can't say it was all good withe the rain and all. Lucky for me it didn't rain when I got there!



I wish there were more stuff like this in NYC :D!
