I've been reading the GamePolitics coverage of Jack Thompson's bar trial [link], just watching this one-man train wreck unfold. I'm unfamiliar with bar disciplinary actions (and I hope to remain so) but apparently he has a high likelihood of being disbarred. This is from a story in today's Miami Herald, which contains a choice quote from Mr. Thompson [EDIT] Hi. Hold on there for a second. As I've been informed that's considered poor form on the cblogs, the link now directs you to a wonderful, non-Rick Astley music video that I'm sure you will enjoy. [/EDIT] likening one of the judges to a particular sex toy. If Mr. Thompson does in fact lose the trial, then he'll have 90 days to appeal. Let's take bets on the success of that. Just look into my eyes and tell me I'm crazy. Unfortunately the court's requirement that Mr. Thompson only file suit under the supervision of another attorney does not apply to a disciplinary action. Mr. Thompson may represent himself, thus having a fool for a client. And that may prove to be our best April fool of all. Source: Miami Herald
