Dan Hsu seems to be talking about the relationship between reviewers and game developers/publishers; I'm much more interested in the relationship between reviewers and the magazine or website's advertisers.
I think the reason the GameSpot thing blew up as much as it did with only circumstantial evidence is that for all we know, that COULD happen. I want publications to tell us what they have done to make sure it can't.
