Rasputina-though they're not the type of music I normally listen to-are awesome. Melora Creager's voice is just amazing, and the cellos and crap sound great, too. I'll have to admit, some of their songs don't make a whole bunch'o'sense. I have absolutely no idea what the song "Nov.17Dee" is about, but I still love it. There's even a song called "Wickie Dickie", which is a song about an old man who's cow, also named Wickie Dickie, died. All the weirdness aside, they're an amazing band.
Okay, so my aunt and uncle have taken in a foreign exchange student from Germany, and she loves World of Warcraft. She is pretty much obsessed with it. I figured I'd try it out, so I asked if I could borrow it from her. I did. What I didn't think of, though, was that the game would be in GERMAN. I installed because I thought maybe there would be a way to change the language, in the options menu or something. No such luck. So, I've uninstalled it, and now I'm downloading the 10-day trial from worldofwarcraft.com, and it's on 97% now. It's been at it for about three days, on and off. I guess the moral of this story is that if you borrow, or obtain some other way, a copy of World of Warcraft that's in a language that you don't speak or understand...don't install it, or learn the language. Pretty simple moral.
If you find its your sort of game your soul is at serious risk of being devoured in its entirety by World of Warcraft. User beware, heroin shot directly into your eyeballs is clinically proven less addictive.
Meh, forget the naysayers.
It's far better if you play with people you know, that's the only thing keeping me in there ^_^
