I never considered myself a gamer - still don't. At least, not in the sense of the word as it's normally perceived. I owned an NES and a Genesis as a kid, and I bought myself a PS2 a few months before it dropped from the $300 price range I bought it at. My collection of games has never been huge, and I often failed horribly at most games I played. I was decent enough to play without TOO much frustration, but I was never great. None of that matters, though, because since that first Christmas day when I plugged in my new NES and started playing Super Mario Bros. to today - I love to play games. I don't have the knowledge of games past or present that many a'folk here do, but that doesn't mean my love for playing is any less diminished.
