I hope to have laughs and share my love for something i have adored since my first atari. The thrill of escapism. The meshing and blending of many different media to produce another world.

As MGO has got MANY of the peeps on here busy i thought i would take the opportunity to quickly post up a little discussion post.

Just wondered with all the Friday Night Fights and the Wed Night Warcawks what the actual opinions and thoughts were on the new pack as well as the other aspects of the game.

So to start this off : THE APC

Moving Fortress? Big kill Bonus? Clan only perks?

I read a review of Broken mirror on Eurogamer, almost slating the Omega Dawn expansion and saying the Broken Mirror was the very opposite, only the APC may just be TOO good... but i have to say i disagree. I have not had a chance to play around with the APC as much and it seems sometimes that no one really knows to lookout for the APC when respawning. But like any new toy it takes a while to figure out its trick ... you got any? I know that there are enough peeps on here that play WARHAWK regularly. Got any input?

I think it's pretty gay that it does zero damage to tanks and plows through everything else effortlessly. That field it lays down should also do damage to vehicles.

The APC is the best thing EVER. It has a LOT of strengths and relatively no weaknesses.

It isn't as fast as the jeep, but much faster than a tank. It is easier to run down people in it, and the ability to power through any vehicle (besides the tank) is pretty impressive.

The bubble is what makes this vehicle, tho.

Warhawk in tight quarters on your butt, pop the bubble out, the warhawk flies into it and dies. Priceless.

And if you're out in the open, pop the bubble, charge your speed boost, and then run till you can pop another one. There isn't a single thing they can do to you.

The fact you can speed burst through other APCs is absolutely amazing, as well. It means you want to be cautious in utilizing it when playing against a team that is using them as well.

@ Yojimbo, my dear brother , seeing as you have no beard i will not listen, aside from jokes... i am in europe, have me some exams and it will happen in the summer....

@balth, WOW i really didnt realise it was THAT effective... in terms of taking warhawks off your tail. And to do that bubble to bubble jumping... i kinda had that going in some way.

But from what i HAVE seen its good to know its not INVUNERABLE ... it truly is a force to be reckoned with,but i have seen APC's swamped by troops, it does not garuntee any infiltration into enemy territory.

Also the random weapon that you get in it is sweet.
