Seems like Ubisoft isn't cutting costs with the collectors edition of RSV:2. I picked up my copy of the game today, and was suprised to find it came with 2 cases, one being the metal collectors case I expected, and the other was just the standard edition case.

Now, normally I'd put this down to an error, but it clearly wasn't due to the fact the metal case was sealed, with only the bonus disc inside.

Not that I'm complaining, I really like it. Props to Ubisoft for that.

@Shin, Depends what you expect for $10 really. For me, the metal case is enough, but for others it's not. It's pretty much just a bonus DVD, no snazzy figures or art books or anything.

I only ask cause I usually don't buy the LEs just cause they come with stuff I wouldn't want. I got the DMC4 LE and it was pretty sub-par to trash seeing I was just paying the extra 20 for the anime. (which if I wanted just that, I would've bought it alone with my discount.) So obviosly the only good thing about that one was the case.

I only read the bit of Vegas 2 bonus stuff and thought it'd be so so. At least better than DMC4's LE.

Unless that special edition comes with an MP5, the regular edition will do me just fine. Ten bucks can get me another game.

If companies sold the swag they package in LEs separate, I'd be more likely to purchase some of it. Only after playing a game do I fully respect a title enough to want to show it off. If I could go back to a store and buy more cool stuff, I would. As it stands, no LEs for me.

For some reason the CE looked different at my gamestop..I'll take a picture of it tomorrow but it had a Spade on the cover and shit..Am I wrong here? There was no metal case involved btw.
