Ever since I could remember my Mom and me played video games together. It was weird at first, she would ask me to play Super Mario Bros with her and we'd go through all these games together as a team.

As soon as I got home from school she was there with a snack and drink, tell me to do my homework and when I was done we would play video games until it was bedtime.

Recently We've played a lot of games like Halo 3 Co-op (my mom is so good with the needler, it's not even funny).

Thats enough back story, fast forward to now. I've started working a while ago at a See's Candy (dont laugh), and met a guy there. His name is mike. coolest guy in the world and is TOTALLY into video games. Love the guy, and hes my new best friend.

About Mike? He just works and takes care of his elderly mom. But thats why he's so great we have so much fun and we have so much in common.

One day I was over at his apartment just playing some Super Smash. I decided to sleep over because we both had the day off. Fast forward to about 3 hours and it's about 4 A.M

I couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to play some Twilight Princess. Imagine my surprise to see Mikes mom playing Twilight Princess. We spent all day playing games. Mike, I don't even know where he went but me and his mom played games all day long, from C&C3 to Digdug.

Sadly enough I found my self having more fun with Mikes mom than i did with my own. I know I shouldn't feel bad but she's so fun. Not only is she funny and makes me feel good even when I mess up, but she's also competitive as hell.
