Part 2 is up, and I didn't see anything posted about it, so here's the link. The topics covered are "As If It Was the Last In the Series" and "For First-Time Gamers." I will say that for something called "Iwata Asks", Iwata sure doesn't ask many questions...

Noooo, another "To be continued..." I think it's pretty safe to say now that Miis definitely won't be in this game. Shame really.

I'd have to agree with you there. That wasn't really all that important to me though. My fave part is where he talks about the decision to not follow Nintendo's Wii concept and develop it with the traditional control schemes. Favorite DOJO update ever was when they announced Gamecube controller support

I have to say the fact that they give us information about the game regularly and that we get an insight into it's development is a very good idea, it's kept me more interested than I probably would have been had they not done that.

Sakurai-san is so amazing! He is the best game designer of all time!

Yep. Got a lot more respect for Sakurai now. Humility in the game industry is non-existent, so I hope other developers are taking notes.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

 about me

My blog posts suck, I repeat post (a minimum of 5 times, even on my own blog), and then I hide all the entries because all I did was embarrass myself. I'm in the Air Force and stationed at Hickam AFB, HI. Its not as nice as you'd think, especially because it hampers my online gaming experience! Damn high pings...
