And well erm I've been playing it for a day, and erm, I don't know what to think about it.

I'm not having fun with it at all.

I used to like the old ones but this one I'm just falling asleep, I think I should of just waited for Brawl to come out now :S

Maybe it's because I haven't played it online yet, I'm trying to set my Wii online but I'm having problems.

But I'm really really hoping that it's more fun online, than now.

Also I don't like playing with the wii wheel, nunchuck and wiimote are what I prefer, however I never play with the karts just with the bikes now.

God I need to get my Wii online, maybe some of you guys here can play with me online and well, make this game a bit more fun because right now I am disapointed.

It was fun for a bit with me but I think online is where is shines. That said i think you'll enjoy brawl more in terms of gameplay but sadly brawl online is a travesty for some people and others love it. my mario kart wii friend code is 5456-0298-6796. We should set up a game if you get you wii online.

I really don't think the Wii is great online. I've always found it finiky at best and not really worth the time, except for a few notable exceptions, like LostWinds.

I totally looked over this game. I still haven't played it. I should probably try it out before I make my accurate judgement, though.

Mario Kart online blows Luc, what you need is brawl. Thats the only thing that saved the wii so far :(. If you get peoples friend codes AND have an xbox next to your wii like me. Put in halo 3 invite friends into the room to just use it to talk and walah. Talk while playing brawl :).

Infinite Obscurity

Mario Kart's single player is pretty boring. That said, the online is some of the best on the Wii, and if you're into building up rankings and tournaments and the like, you'll definitely find it fun. I would probably still play Brawl online more if they both had the same level of quality with their online modes, but Brawl's online is horribly laggy, "with anyone" games only connect 75% of the time and you can't do anything but a 2 minute match unless you're playing with friends.

I got the game a week ago, and my opinion on it is the single player is boring, but the multiplayer both online and off is great. 4 player Mario Kart is incredibly addicting. Me and my friends play it more then brawl nowadays.

I think offline and online it's great personally, not as great as Mario Kart DS, but still doing pretty good for itself.

I think it's fun, especially if you give yourself time to adjust to the wheel.

I had a good time playing the 50CC races, but as soon as I moved up to 100CC the computer AI went insane. On the first cup I was leading the entire race until about 100 yards from the finish and I get hit with a blue shell, lightning, and a blue shell. I end up in 5th, effin lame. This happened on 3 of the races in the first cup. I havent touched the game since then.

Get it online and it changes as you start to realise what is AI bullshit and what is actually possible with the way weapons are handed out.

Clue: its not easy to tell. I've been blue shelled, red shelled and lightning struck in online races.

It's boring alone, but it's awsome with your friends. Get a couple of beers and invite your buddies over.

I just picked it up, using the wiimote for steering is troublesome for me. Thankfully my replacement GC controller just arrived, i'll use that.
