About Me
My favorite games are Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Castlevania, Alone in the Dark, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, Indigo Prophecy, Final Fantasy VI, Clocktower, Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War.

I am not a fanboy. Favoritism towards a particular console is dumb. I enjoy games that happened to be exclusive on a console thus drawing my attention to a console.

I am not your monkey.

I own indepenent thought, Batman #1, multiple Warhamer armies, a world of warcraft account, beer, and also, cocks.

You might even see me on the internet one day.

Just wondering but seeing as how nothing good has come out latley I've been bored as hell. And raiding SSC. And reading comics, IF you don't read comics or give a nutsack then go back to your cold hearted childhoodless life on the internet bus. BUT if you do. Well then hai thur.

Anyways so I started reading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planetary_(comics) < Planetary and it is fucking tight. Really. Really good stuff.

Anyone else dig on some Marvel? DC? Vertigo? Image?

On a side note.

A list of good shit=Dark Knight Returns, Amazing final chapter of batman. The Walking Dead, GREAT post modern apocalyptic opinion on every day life in the since that McDonalds=Zombies. TV=gone because the TV people are zombies. Everywhere=zombies. Fable, really fucked up twisted story tales in a sort of dark tone. Not goth, just dark. Civil War, (if for whatever reason you haven't read this) couple of superheroes are fighting some villans and blow up an entire city block and the government calls a registration act on all super heros; some are for it, some aren't, and people die. Thunderbolts (Macdonald "Mac" Gargan with the Venom costume, the early stuff is great too.), supervillans involved in the same registration act are paid by the government to use any force necessary to make the unregistered superheroes think differently.

But also, you cocks tell ME some good stuff that I might be missing IF you read comics.

I'm sure you've got all these covered but: Preacher (by your avatar I'm guessing you've read that already), Hellblazer, Watchmen and V for Vendetta are my (very obvious) favourites. The only thing I keep up with now is the weekly British compilation 2000AD (Judge Dredd et al.)

Splundig vur Thrigg.

I REALLY want to read the Hellblazer series. I hope it doesn't make me hate the movie. But what's that last one you were talking about?

I dig DC stuff, as well as your list of preferred games (minus Clocktower... I only liked part 3).

Plantetary, eh? Never read it but it looks pretty interesting. When it comes to comics I don't know a whole hell of a lot that goes on in the DC Universe, but I'm definitely a Marvel nerd and am in love with all incarnations of the Avengers, classic, new, or mighty. As such I'm usually pretty up to date with what's happening in the 616.

Oh, and Mac Gargan as Venom= Fail.

Eddie Brock is, and always will be, Venom in my heart.

2000AD. It's a weekly British compilation (typically 4 or 5 five to six page long) which has been running for around 30 years solid now. It's fronted by Judge Dredd.
and features far too many other awesome thing s to mention. NOw you may recall the appalling Judge Dredd movie starring Rocky Balboa himself but don't let that put you off.

I'm not sure about its availability overseas but you should be able to get a hold of some of the collected editions. In particular try and check out Button Man, Strontium Dog and Nikolai Dante.

Also is Judge Dredd really worth reading, comradetrotskii ? He always looked like a bad ass, but honestly this...

makes me want to wash my eyes with acid.

That fucking Stallone movie is really awful. Dredd has never, ever, not once revealed his face in over 1500 strips. Yet the first fucking thing that Hollywood does is the give the part to a big name actor whose face is very obviously going to be shown. (Also Stallone was far too short to play the part, Dredd is somewhere around 6'6") The second thing they do is make the Judges - the embodiment of absolute power and The Law - look like they are at a fucking S&M gay club.

The basic plot wasn't too bad as it was ripped from numerous parts of the Dredd Universe but Hollywood failed completely and utterly to capture any of the satire or the irony of Dredds world. Everyvbody, from fans to the editors and writers of 2000AD deny any association with that funtin' (thats Dredd for fucking ;-p) piece of nonsense and believe that all those responsible deserve a 'Rigellian Hotshot' for their involvement.

So yeah, it's worth giving it a read. It is very British in its humour and style though.

Comics to read: The Exterminators, Shaolin Cowboy, The Pro (great graphic novel about a superhero that's a whore), Invincible, Dynamo 5, Noble Causes, Criminal, American Virgin, Books of Doom, The Red Star....I could go on, but that should suffice. Enjoy!

Shaolin Cowboy, HellBoy, Killer Girl, All Star Batman, All Star Superman, and the Spirit arethe comics I'm reading regularly these days.

Oh, and Dark Knight Returns is not infat the final chapter of Batman. It has a sequel called the Dark Knight Strikes back, and it sort of sucks.

And Walking Dead is good every once and a while. I got a letter printed in issue #7, which is nice for me.

I love old school Vertigo. Enigma, thats my shit.

I also collect Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Any of them will do, but I'm trying to get a complete Vol. 1 set in any printing (I know I'll never find a first print number 1).

I enjoy Punisher MAX, The Boys, Immortal Ironfist, Detective Comics especially those written by Dini, the Walking Dead, The Exterminators(read it), 100 Bullets, Y-TLM, BPRD, Cable & Deadpool, New Avengers, Daredevil and Capt America. Whew.

And there's more, way more.

This is a video game site obviously but I am always willing to talk funny books with fellow gamers.

So, yeah.
