I'll say this, Dead Space is one of the most polished games I've played this year. Nothing about it feels rushed in any way, and I honestly think it's a GOTY contender (although it won't ultimately win with so much tough competition).
If you like shooters, survival horror games, or the movies The Thing and Alien, buy this game.
I saw a preview for this in Game Informer a year ago, and it was at least a year in development at that point.
2 years = how long IW had to make CoD4.
Being rushed is not a problem Dead Space has.

I don't know if Deadspace is the ticket to becoming happier. It seems like an awfully depressing game to me.

Game is amazing and scary and really well done.. Just label EA a stigma just cause MAdden. Army of Two wasn't the best but it was a fun-cop game.
