VG cats took a really cool stab at Ctrl + alt +del yesterday. Although I like both comics I
found this really funny.

Yeah, I was shocked to see VG Cats actually update. CAD could respond, but that would involve no updates to a "weekly" webcomic for a month at a time. :p

Why do people hate CAD? Is the creator a dick or something?

I will admit that I've lol'd at CAD a few times but that was only when they actually pulled away from their increasingly stupid storyline and make a VG joke that isn't vague in any way. Scott hit the nail on the head with this comic.

Yeah, CAD's oh-so-important storylines are dull, boring, and predictable. If they were to return to the random funny game references and stop relying on Chef Brian for lulz, the quality of the strip would increase tenfold. It's so rare for me to laugh at one of the strips.

Yeah, Scott wins. There should be a once-a-week limit on Ethan and his hilarious exploits.

Eh, CAD gets a big "meh" from me. It's mildly entertaining, but not as OMGLMFAO-worthy as some other gaming comics out there. Like VG Cats.

I also agree the actual video-game centric comics are far funnier than the storyline. I think the problem is he relies too heavily on character-driven plots, but the characters never really develop and we never see a deeper side to them, so the whole thing turns into a dry rerun of Seinfeld.
