sounds like the card's EEPROM has come loose,
My LoZ: A Link to the Past cart won't retain my save files either. :(
I have always found Penny Arcade hilarious, so I'm not one to really understand how people didn't always find them humorous. Sorry.
Yes, many times and it sucks :(.
PS: I agree with B-Radicate :P
What B-rad said
That PA comic had me howling with laughter this morning
Happens the odd time. It really is a bitch. Particularly when you have been really working hard at a game.
Also Penny Arcade has always been a hoot.
Penny Arcade Fan Boy reporting in sir.
Yeah, it's the internal battery going out. It's happened to my Pokemon Gold, which I had about 500 hours clocked, and one of my fake 100-in-one GBC cartridges.
It's surprising to see a GBA game go like this though.
Penny Arcade usually makes me laugh, although sometimes I have to check the news post to understand what the hell they're talking about.
Yes. My 360 did this to me once. Luckily I was had completed almost all of the games whose saves got erased but it still sucked.
I had this happen with a copy of castlevania dawn of sorrow. Said that it was corrupt, then the save that was on the cart when I got it died too.
PA: hilarious.
Lost saves: NOT HILARIOUS. But it's definitely happened to me, too.
