Not my Turning Point gaming rig
Log1c | 6:02 PM on 03.07.2008 6 comments

First, the computer... and it was good....

But that was not enough to satiate him. He must build a gaming setup in his own image...

So aside from the odd commentary, I'll toss out the specs.

Intel C2Q 6600 at a cool 3.42 Ghz with a Tuniq Tower 120 on top.
Abit IP35-Pro mated with two 2Gb sticks of OCZ Hyper-X ram.
A HP w2207 22" lashed via DVI to a eVGA 8800GTS beast at 775/1000/1850.
All powered by a Cosair 550HX workhorse and all housed in a beautiful Antec P182 case.
Plus there are some hard drives for porn and games and music.

Thats some heatsink I have to say. Nice Spec, nice rig. I think I used to have that chair aswell, before I snapped 2 or 3 of the legs by constantly falling off the back of it, rendering it pretty much useless...

Your processor is fucking better than the one in the Turning Point PC.
Good lord, man.

In fact, all of it is better, except only one videocard instead of an SLI setup.

You totally don't need a new PC. :(

The only thing better is the case. and better might not be a good word, maybe just fancier and more expensive....

The chair is effin fantastic. I think its 5-6 years old now and still going strong.

Best part is, whole set up cost $1500 about. (including monitor)

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
