I figured this was fitting news for the PC section... Finally. Though Jim Sterling getting a PC is hard to beat...

Very cool that the complexity is up there to knock consoles out of the running. Maybe they will dumb it down for console in a half a year or so. The first Deus Ex game was so awesome, hopefully this will fall suit. No game since has been made like it. It had everything...
- Persistent stage to stage
- Hit locations
- A great story
- Character upgrades that affect game play choices
- Integration of those choises in an interactive world
- Non-Linear gamplay
- Great stage maps
- Long story and lots of play!
It seemed that many games would follow this scheme, but non did...
Well at least some good news for PC. Hopefully something can be done to help the console out with this in the future.
AM I DOING THIS RIGHT MR. STERLING?!
No, but seriously. I mean the game probably won't be all that bad, since you really can't do any worse than Invisible War, right? RIGHT?!
Took me a few reads to notice that line, so I thought I'd repost it.
I am now hyped. :)
I think this is all that needs to be said.
I'm grateful they're taking the risk, it's been years since a PC Dev has, but forgive the pessimism in me that can see this ending up canned or being nerfed by E3
I want to know how deep the cyberpunk goes in this one though. Will it be like the first one, where you only get some nanomachine prototype whatevers but are still mostly human, or will you actually play as a cyborg soldier this time around?
I mean, because the Denton's were supposedly the first ones to use the nanotech, and this is a prequel...
Either way, what Sadistic said: Can't be worse than Invisible War, right?
Square-Enix is the publisher.
@Palidi
Even before the Dentons there were Tanks, non-nanotech cyborgs, such as Gunther. They were pretty common place but eventually phased out because nano-tech cyborgs such as the Dentons and MIBs were far superior.
Yeah, I couldn't remember exactly what they were called, but those Tanks are what I meant when I said "cyborg soldier". I mean, being a prequel, it only makes sense that you would play as one, right?
If they plan to make any money off of the game they will.
well there's always the asia factor, and the ps3 has a little more oomph than the xbox so it could still come to ps3...
dont count out korea... they love their pc games... and spooge all over starcraft, its practically a holiday over there
I'd get it on PC since I played the first one on their as well :-) Plus it'd give me something usefull to do on it other then playing RTS and mindless FPS :-)
Half-Life 2.
Anyway, it BETTER be PC exclusive.
