Have you ever sustained an injury while playing a video game? How did it happen?

I've definitely given myself quite a few blisters mashing Hadokens on super nintendo, or the middle of my palm playing mario party on N64. I think the most notable and painful was when playing through Afro Samurai on the more difficult setting. I was near the end of the game, making my way to the last boss. I was what Ninja Ninja would call a "Button Mashing Mother F*****". I was mashing buttons so hard that the next day my thumb was extremely sensitive, it felt like i had bruised underneath my thumbnail somehow and my opposite arm felt like I had tendonitis from squeezing the L triggers so hard. I ended up beating the game but for the next few days my shit was hurting.

I felt foolish for hurting myself playing a game, but also proud that I had beaten it on the more difficult setting.
