Yes, friends, more than 30 editors located all over the world set aside their ages, allegiances and personal favorites to pick the hundred best videogames that the planet has ever seen! There was fighting, there was mayhem, and there was pizza -- lots and lots of pizza.

Seriously, do we need one of these each year? These next to useless list being annual makes them even less credible. Do enough quality games come out that the list is constantly shifting? Did you realize that one game was worse/better than what you thought last year?

And yes, I realize that I'm bitching and posting.

I did my top 50 this week and don't see myself updating it for another 10 years probably. When I was looking at the top 100 I had to stop there were more than one game listed there that had the wrong screenshot attached to it. I couldn't take it...

Fucking list isn't even finished yet.

Secret of Mana (no 79) and Advance Wars(no 87) are already gone so I'm not even going to bother checking back on it.

I thought GoldenEye would have been higher. It was the definitive party game for a while.

The only Top <insert number> lists I trust are Edge's because they rarely get it wrong and usually include the public in the votes or Excrememnto because he somehow makes sense and I can rarely dispute his lists.

Just a question. How was Mech Warrior 2 better than Final Fantasy VII. I personlly don't see what the fuss is about FFVII(Not my style of game) but I know its a damn good game. And Goldeneye. How is MEch Warrior 2 better than Goldeneye. That's just stupid

Please, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Damien and I am 18 years old. I recently joined the Air Force but I'm not leaving for basic training until January 1st.

I've been gaming ever since I was five after I was first introduced to Sonic the Hedgehog. My favorite game series would have to Halo, Half-Life, and the various Mario platformers and spin offs.

I'm into horror and comedy movies. My favorite TV shows would have to be Dexter, Heroes and The Office.
