Please, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Damien and I am 18 years old. I recently joined the Air Force but I'm not leaving for basic training until January 1st.

I've been gaming ever since I was five after I was first introduced to Sonic the Hedgehog. My favorite game series would have to Halo, Half-Life, and the various Mario platformers and spin offs.

I'm into horror and comedy movies. My favorite TV shows would have to be Dexter, Heroes and The Office.

Galaxy dethroned

Well after about a week, Galaxy has dropped back down to 2nd place and Ocarina of Time has taken back its throne. Galaxy has taken the title from Ocarina of Time longer than any other game, so that's an achievement. It was nice to see some change of the ranking list but that time has passed. Will a game ever take the throne? Probably not.

I doubt all of the reviews for Galaxy are in yet, it could go up or down a little bit more.

@ JonDarkwood: You're right, Galaxy only has 40 reviews but more reviews tends to lower scores. It'd be nice it some sites started to do throwback reviews or something.

OoT is available on the gamecube and is backwards compatible with the wii so you can just play it on the w......nevermind.

Seriously Wiisucks, play OoT. There is a reason why its the highest rank game for NINE FREAKING YEARS.

I almost never replay games, and Ive played OoT at least 10 times all the way through

They need to start retro-reviewing games, so LttP can take its rightful place atop the throne of awesome games.

Bloodylip: You may sort of get that wish if a recent quote from Anouma in the UK Official Nintendo Magazine is to be believed:

I have to say though, the first Zelda game that I played and felt potential in was Link to the Past. I�m actually very interested in what it would be like if we remade that title as a 3D game.

Hopefully he means PH style top down 3D.

I've seen some places do retro re-reviews (particularly in light of the Virtual Console) but for some reason they always seem to adopt a different scoring system e.g. a 5 point scale for retro games in place of their usual 10 point. It something that disturbs me greatly as its akin to saying 'yeah these games were great but not worth comparing to what we have now.' That is plain wrong.
