Please, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Damien and I am 18 years old. I recently joined the Air Force but I'm not leaving for basic training until January 1st.

I've been gaming ever since I was five after I was first introduced to Sonic the Hedgehog. My favorite game series would have to Halo, Half-Life, and the various Mario platformers and spin offs.

I'm into horror and comedy movies. My favorite TV shows would have to be Dexter, Heroes and The Office.

This has to be the best gaming commercial that I've seen this generation, definitely blows the shit out of the "Wii want to play" commercials. Runner up: The Bioshock commercials.

Gears of War had the best I've ever seen. I was in a movie theater and just got blown away by it. I got over the whole action shots and hard rock tracks about 4 years ago. But I agree the BioShock one were cool.

You're right the floating baby scared the shit out of me. So anything besides that is a huge improvement.

I wouldn't call this amazing, but it's a step in the right direction.

You know, the direction of showing some gameplay videos, reminding everyone you can get one for less than $600 now, and last but not least, advertising it as a games machine - not a mysterious box sent to us from dimension X that brings baby dolls to life and encourages army vets to play with their guns in their bathtub.

For an industry that creates such visually stunning and innovative products, their adversisements are usually sub-par, so this is uber nice to see! I like it!

The ad is a minute long. The total amount of time they showed gameplay footage (not including Home or Spiderman) was 16 seconds.

I'm just not impressed by CG or songs that are played ad infinitum on the radio, sorry.
