I've been gaming since the end of the 80's with my good old friend the NES, but soon after, her hotter sister the SNES caught my eye and we married. I re-married every 4-5 years after that, but that's unimportant.

Presently i work in the gaming field in Montreal and it's SWEET! Finally playing those games all my life has paid off. If someone wants you to stop playing games because "you won't get a job by playing games, blablabla" don't listen to them.

Waiting for: Final Fantasy XIII, Killzone 2.

Rock Band forum is down

I was writing in the rock band forums after all the outrage and woah... the forum is down o_O. Is it because there is too much outrage or is it pure coincidence?

Latest news from the forum were that some people had their 100$ reimbursed, but they still didn't get their guitar. Does that mean that they will not ship any new guitars to these people, i dunno.

Seriously my personal take on the subject is that EA wants to drag the Rock Band name in the mud so it can release it's own band rythmn game and own the competition (EA only distributes the game... and probably made a lot of pressure to assure that the game shipped early for X-Mas).

Ug I hope not. EA has always bugged me and if it isn't a rumor about on getting money back instead of instrument... puppies will be burned.

False alarm, the forums are back :-), but there is still that problem about the 100$ deposit, i'll inquire more.

Im amazed at my good luck, my copy has worked perfectly and I played it ALL WEEKEND with friends/family/even my mom
